“All the money in the world can’t buy you back good health.”

Reba McEntire

 physical health

I know this is a no brainer, right? Money can’t “buy” good health, but we sure can invest in eating nutritiously and our fitness.  The funny thing is, we know that cakes, pies, ice cream, cookies and fast food aren’t nutritious, and yet, we don’t think twice about consuming that junk.

If we owned a Ferrari, we would never put diesel in the tank for fuel.  We wouldn’t dream of putting the cheap, low-octane, water-laced, no-name brand gasoline in it.  Why? It would ruin the engine, and the car would either not run at all or sputter and cough its way down the street.  Nevertheless, we do it to our bodies, which cannot be replaced.

Most folks don’t even realize the reason they are exhausted and have no energy is directly related to their physical health (fitness and nutrition).  When you don’t feel physically good, it’s hard to do anything, accomplish anything, or even find the energy to feel fulfilled, even when do accomplish something.  It’s a fight just to get up.  Reference the flu, if you’ve ever had it…forget about it.

Life on all 8-cylinders requires good physical health and it’s the easiest “cylinder” to tune-up.  Can disease and illness strike even the healthiest of people? Yes, but the odds of avoiding those things can be drastically increased in your favor by eating right and working out (not to mention laying off the hard liquor and smokes).

If you want a high-performance, high-powered life filled with success and fulfillment (read – happiness), get your nutrition and fitness on the right track and stick with it.

Remember: KNOWING and DOING are completely different animals.

Boo Yah!!
